Yesterday, 02:55 PM Lately one of my friend offers me hosting. I jumped at the chance, what could go wrong hey? Well, just one week later, I had a patch of 2 days of down time and serve loading times (sorry about that.) Now, I was getting annoyed not only was I losing my reputation but also crucial visits. Now, the worst happened my site went down again on numerous occasion and I was getting more and more annoyed. I stuck it out for the three month and opted not to pay for another PAID month- so now my hosting account was suspended and my files were not being shown. I was livid, so I kindly asked for my files (Allowed under the Data Protections Act 1999.) He refused and refused, I felt my whole site coming down. You wouldn’t want to know, the time I’ve spent on this site fixing and coding for example. (They said I was under DDOS attack, but I knew I wasn't didn't break 25 page loads an hour ONCE.)
After 10 hours of abuse, being threatened and he said “I’ll track you down, I have your ip” , yet to make it sure I also mistreated and one of the worst customer support cases, I’ve ever had. I agreed to pay a fine to access my file and I’m thinking of a court case against them, with the level of stupidity and ignorance on there end. I was made to feel ashamed and low and I hated every minute of, I would expect this of large companyss but not a one man band.
I encourage to never buy a domain or hosting with them, if you don’t want this to happen to you. I hope you learn from this and persuade you not to buying anything from them. I’m outraged and disgrace by and sent a copy of the chat Log, to all of the major news site’s. I hope you understand the downtime, as it was out of the control of me and I’m as angry as you are now. Once again, I hope you understand the 60% downtime, that I had with the company .
What's more, I wrote a blog post about the company and they threatend to sue me for slander.

It’s ultimately your responsibility for backing up of data never expect a host to do it. That being said a court case are you serious you want to blow 1000's of dollars over some data I understand if your Wal-Mart. Now no one should be belittled no matter who they are chalk it up to a bad time and chose a new host wisely. b) no matter what the host reputation is always proceed with care. You never know what might go wrong,and the best thing is to be always prepared for the worst.

Also, costed me in the range of $100 because of down time and a huge rep loss. I mean, people called me out on Social media! Uniques and ranks dropped because of it, could claim loss of earnings. Since this was free hosting from a "friend", it doesn't really belong on WHT.
Yes, it's still a Web Hosting company and I got exactly the same service as anyone else would. They didn't even know, I got it for free, apart from the friend that offered me it. Be fair, it is our responsibility to perform regular back up. And do remember, you pay them for the services and if you don't then don't expect anything. Furthermore, it is possible for you to clarify your domain here so that this community of WHT can verify your review for this host?
Today lesson, don't ever trust your friend 100% for something like this because you may fall to scam host provider. At first place, did you check their review before hosted with them?
