SteveIndeed. We don't provide support via livechat either, only sales and customer service enquiries. I have on occasion provided support but it's not the 'norm'. A lot more information is required in most cases to provide support and by using the helpdesk, this information is provided straight away. When a ticket is submitted, we know what service it relates to and what the problem is. With livechat, you don't know a) who you're talking to (are they who they say they are... so you have to verify) b) what the problem is etc etc.
