I signed up with Hostgator one year ago (on 10th February 2011). I paid for one year, so my billing cycle should be yearly. I would like to pay for the next year, but I don't know how to pay and how much should I pay. I'd like to pay now, because on 10th February 2012 I will be on holiday and will not be online.
Could you give me instructions on how can I pay for my Baby package for the next year? I would like to pay via Paypal.
I have logged into Hostgator billing, but don't know what should I do there.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Greetings, Did you not contact their billing department via email or live chat? -- I'm not sure how WHT is the best place to get your answers.

Today, 08:18 AM Hi, You should be able to login to the billing system and deposit funds into your account. Hostgator normally send out invoices before the due date so you should be able to pay the invoice before the 10th Feb.

Today, 08:19 AM Billing support is probably the best place to go, but from my HG panel I think I know what you'll want to do. Firstly click on subscriptions. On the subscriptions page you'll be able to see when your account needs to renew and the cost of renewal. Mine for example is 59.70 on a 6 month plan.
Now you know how much you need to pay, click on the "make payment" option on the left navigation bar and make a payment for the amount that was required to renew.
Again, I'd probably contact HG about this, but that seems to be how you'd do it.
Today, 08:40 AM Why would you ask here on this forum and not with the host who offers support a zillion different ways 24/7?__________________

Contact HostGator. The end. They'll gladly tell you how they're able to collect your money. What host wouldn't?
Today, 09:43 AM Contacting HostGator is the best option. No one over here could guide as well as your host.
Today, 10:10 AM Not sure why you would come on here to ask that. I think you should contact them, their billing department and I'm sure they will tell you how to pay.

As everyone else mentioned, those questions would be better suited towards the actual company since they deal with more of the specific and internal matters of the company and not something in general. If you contact them I am sure they will either advise you to deposit money into your account to pay for your invoice beore hand, or they can generate the invoice in advance for payment. If your vaction is not long, their TOS should instruct you of their grace period for payment as well as other matters.

And why in the world are you asking this here? You should ask HostGator that, this is not Hostgator. They have customer support on their website, so you can go and contact them and ask them this questions. They will be happy to accept another payment for another year.__________________

Today, 11:48 AM Honestly, one of the things I loved about hostgator is their chat, which is always on,this can be handled with one question to their support department.
Today, 12:02 PM Why should he change his billing cycle? He already paid for a year, and apparently he is happy with his current host
Today, 03:27 PM You might have to wait for hostgator to generate invoice for you, or you can definitely ask them on live chat or send a support ticket in billing department, so they can send you invoice early.
